Abstract:

Introduction: From a long time ago, benefiting from TECHNOLOGY has been an inevitable thing for human interests, which is born and based on science. It can be claimed that there is harmony between ethics, science and TECHNOLOGY, which promote each other. In this article, the researcher discusses this harmony and compatibility. Material and Methods: The current review study was descriptive and using the study of sources and research keywords among the books and articles published in the databases of Thomson Information Institute, Science Direct and Pub Med. Conclusion: As science and TECHNOLOGY continue to advance and become more integrated into our daily lives, ethical considerations become increasingly important. For example, the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has raised questions about the potential implications of creating machines that can make autonomous decisions and take actions. If science and TECHNOLOGY were considered as a tool, it should have been able to subjugate humans and influence all aspects of behavior and values. While it has become a problem that eventually becomes aligned with morality by applying reason, and people now seek help from it as a tool.

Abstract:

This paper examines in detail the little-known Friday Mosque (masjid-i jāmi‘) of Firdaus, located southwest of the Khurasan, which has had a key role in developing Saljuq ARCHITECTURE in the area. The original scheme of the mosque was unclear. The lofty īwān and two flanking dome chambers on the west (qibla) side of the courtyard are the central core of the mosque. The main aim of the article is to analyse the ARCHITECTURE of the mosque and demonstrate its association with the architectural style of the Saljuq mosque in the Khurasan area.  During the conservation and restoration measures in 2006, some fresh materials were unearthed. The new findings shed light on the original features of the mosque and revealed its formation. The paper describes the city's history, defines its architectural characteristics, and then analyses the present information for replying to the research questions. Owing to the outcomes of the archaeological investigation, the study suggests the general scheme of the mosque as a further example of the two- īwān mosque, which may be dated to the late years of the 6th /12th century. Despite the importance of the mosque, no lengthy study has been published about the building. The accurate drawing of the plan and sections of this monument, with the proposal scheme for the reconstruction of the mosque, are being published in this paper for the first time.

Abstract:

ARCHITECTURE as an art, like science, has been evolving consistently through its historical base is analogous to a living organism and it is placed in a dialectic process. Development of ARCHITECTURE is the result of interaction between TECHNOLOGY and history. It is very important to achieve an efficient and advanced ARCHITECTURE design in any time and every era, a concept that has roots in Iranian ARCHITECTURE. Education based on apprenticeship and establishment of elements of traditional architectural basis and ethical principles form the essence of ARCHITECTURE. The existence of antibiosis and complexity in the development of science and TECHNOLOGY and consequently in the art and ARCHITECTURE styles determine the quality of the architectural education. The purpose of this study is to examine the essence of architectural education and its changes through the time as a scientific process to clarify new horizons for architectural education and learning. Logical argumentation research strategy and descriptive analytical research method have been adopted as inference mechanism and research method of study. The results show that new horizons of contemporary ARCHITECTURE should be clarified through interaction of "consistency" and "diversity". It is proposed to adapt the teaching methods, which focuses on socio-cultural parameters rooted in sustained and indigenous believes and thoughts.

Abstract:

The hypothesis of the Sassanid ARCHITECTURE's influences on Islamic ARCHITECTURE has been discussed in former inquiries with regards to the formalistic and decorative congruencies, but the fact that these similarities can be attributed to other periods has been neglected. ARCHITECTURE as a knowledge and profession has a sociotechnical nature, therefore these two aspects should be assayed in influence explanation in addition to physical evaluation. As such, this study explores these influences in the deeper layers, that is, circumstances of ARCHITECTURE as a part of knowledge and profession as well as building TECHNOLOGY of structural elements in the Sassanid and Islamic epochs that have been negligibly investigated in prior studies. The theoretical foundation of this assessment relies on the intertextuality theory, and the data are taken from historical texts for analysis. This study aims to reveal the ARCHITECTURE status and its actors’ position in the Sassanid era by providing a diachronic understanding of ARCHITECTURE and a scrutiny reflection on the construction process to indicate their impacts on the subsequent text, that is, Islamic ARCHITECTURE. elucidating this relevance can assist in boosting or weakening the main hypothesis as well as the origin of the formation of Islamic ARCHITECTURE. The current research process is qualitative, retrospective, and reliant on predominantly Inductive arguments and of an interpretive-historical approach. The results and discussion demonstrate that Islamic ARCHITECTURE is entirely indebted to the Sasanian architectural tradition in terms of its concept, status, and, administrative system but in construction TECHNOLOGY scope, although Islamic ARCHITECTURE relies on the previous methods, some alterations have been made in the implementation form and materials to evolve the previous techniques.

Abstract:

Arches and vaults are of the most important parts of traditional buildings of Iranian ARCHITECTURE. In the traditional ARCHITECTURE of Iran, before oil was discovered, fuel (such as wood) was one of the high-ranking issues. Therefore, Iranian traditional architects did their best to reduce the use of wood. There was however, a revival of the use of brick in construction. Qomi-poosh TECHNOLOGY is one of the most impressive and admirable achievements of traditional ARCHITECTURE of Iran, which was invented by Ostad Hassan Qomi. This paper aims to study Qomi-poosh vaults and its execution techniques. Our investigation shows that Qomi-poosh TECHNOLOGY could span nearly 6 metres with only 5 cm thickness (the width of a brick), which is equal to one a hundred and twentieth.

Abstract:

Architectural and artistic remains of the Achaemenid Empire have attracted the attention of scholars for many centuries. Nevertheless، the focus of research has been on locating Achaemenid origins in the architectural forms of other conquered civilizations. More recently، a tendency has emerged that tries to analyze Achaemenid art and history on their own terms. However، little attention has been paid to Achaemenid ARCHITECTURE and building crafts. The sporadic studies cannot open up new horizons to gain a fuller understanding of Achaemenid building traditions. This paper aims at filling this knowledge gap. Given the unique engineering of the Achaemenid palatial complexes، it is of high importance to identify the TECHNOLOGY used to realize such ambitious projects. Benefitting from an interpretive-historical research method، as well as reading the archaeological evidence through the lens of engineering knowledge، this study sheds new light on topics such as construction techniques and materials، effective resistance against destructive powers of nature، as well as the way through which building TECHNOLOGY developed during the empire. The Achaemenids benefitted from a partial understanding of the physical properties of materials and the flow of forces in structures. Moreover، they not only employed the most effective techniques available by then but also invented genuine methods to improve the static behavior of their colossal palaces.

Abstract:

Morality is one of the valuable things, which has been considered in Islamic society. All thinkers of morality in notional scope have tried to invite people to a good life by preparing them with cases such as contentment, forgiveness, true worshiping, pure life and earning kosher money. Islamic morality is a set of all headings correlated to morality specially morality science which is related to Islamic world and culture. Morality has a good adjacent with values and is divided into adaptive morality. Notional morality and practical morality and these items can be the origin of issuance of bad or good actions.Islam always recommends Islamic society, to learn and rely on new sciences and technologies albeit in foreign and non-Islamic countries, and takes this as a honorable and devotional act, so there is no difference between Islamic root and science and technological development, but beside recommending knowledge avocation, Islam stresses on this point that the purpose of science and TECHNOLOGY should be in direction of serving Islam fundament, this issue causes TECHNOLOGY to be consistent in a contrived way with cultural elements, such as beliefs and thoughts, social values, social norms and provisions, symbols and ideologies, so that the performance of this TECHNOLOGY be a desirable one.ARCHITECTURE is an era for out breaking individual, social life and normative aspects like morality. This issue causes affective factors in ARCHITECTURE with special features grow in its framework and meaning. Considering moral norms of society and the humankind is one of the basic requirements in shaping human’s work place and life. So the relation between ARCHITECTURE morality and social norms is satisfying the needs of the human, so that he can find comfort in the ARCHITECTURE space. During history architects have tried to match their ARCHITECTURE with moral norms with understanding these needs, but the arrival of new technological alongside identification issues and originality crisis, has affected on moral components in ARCHITECTURE and has created new challenges between morality in ARCHITECTURE and TECHNOLOGY. The problem of the present paper is: what is the relation between morality and TECHNOLOGY in ARCHITECTURE? And our purpose is finding moral concept and social norms of morality in TECHNOLOGY transferring process in terms of today TECHNOLOGY; when TECHNOLOGY and ARCHITECTURE be synchronized, the effect of this problem that is technological ARCHITECTURE, would be inappreciable with regarding moral and normative criteria, but if TECHNOLOGY won't be synchronized with ARCHITECTURE then they would be against each other and it will transform to “ARCHITECTURE TECHNOLOGY“ phenomenon in which TECHNOLOGY will become all forms of ARCHITECTURE and then necessary condition for shaping ARCHITECTURE would be TECHNOLOGY. So ARCHITECTURE is always affected by TECHNOLOGY, whether to promote ARCHITECTURE of spatial and semantic features to weaken them and to show the dominance of TECHNOLOGY on ARCHITECTURE and the human. The purpose of this paper is not the deny TECHNOLOGY acquisition from non-Islamic societies because TECHNOLOGY is important in any society and if this TECHNOLOGY would not be with awareness, this TECHNOLOGY can destroy the remained morality. TECHNOLOGY makes a society develop in different dimensions and morality that is intrinsic should grasp as important concept in this time, and this development matches morality development but with converse face which in a short time it will be with disappearing morality. TECHNOLOGY and development especially constant and development are a complex process. The TECHNOLOGY procedure type is related to collaboration and public trust of all people of a society regarding to moral balance and other social norms of that society. If people want to use and develop TECHNOLOGY without destroying morality and its concepts in today society, they should bring human values such as trust, humanitarianism and love in their life and work. The results of the research shows that for reaching a proper pattern of current ARCHITECTURE in an Islamic society, some criteria for using architectural TECHNOLOGY should be considered which the most important of them is to consider morality component in terms of using TECHNOLOGY in ARCHITECTURE. Morality components in ARCHITECTURE include:- Continuous afford to promote moral and noumenon dimension in ARCHITECTURE and inside an architect.- Self–knowing and the other knowing in response to people's needs.- Continuous afford in self –construction and adjustment of job affairs. Continuous afford for effective presence of Islamic religion and morality in all dimension of works and jobs.- Re-knowing, preservation and adjustment of norm manners and society in light of Islamic standard.- Re-knowing Islamic culture and civilization and growing it to create architectural space regarding to current and future needs of society.- Afford to promote common human Islamic -Iranian dimensions which identity category would be grown by it. Observance these elements by architect alongside harmonizing TECHNOLOGY with these elements, would create a result appropriate to social morality, culture and norms.so it can be said that ARCHITECTURE is as a result of Islamic moral elements and updated with modern TECHNOLOGY.
